BWPhotochallenge - Mother and Chicks
Was really arb going to the shops and seeing these two Egyptian Geese walking along the pavement with their four chicks.
Unfortunately only had seconds to snap the photo before they went through a gate into a corporate property
Nice capture, Themagus! I've never seen an Egyptian goose before, it looks kinda skinny:) Did this happen in the city center? You just have animals walking around, or was it in the park? We have chicken and wild pigs running all over Phuket:) Cheers,mate!
They pretty big and fierce. They are all over in the suburbs....I will post a close up of one as a reply on one if your posts when I get a good picture. Wild pigs on a spit barbecue.....yummy.
Hehe! It's really tricky to get those pigs, they wrote in newspaper about police trying to catch them and move to another area, but they failed :) Tell Egyptian goose howdy next time you see it :)

Always nice to catch guessout and about we have a few here nothing seems to bother them they cross busy roads at their own pace and let the cars build up waiting for the yo finish

I love geese. We had some Chinese geese when we lived in Kampot. The chicks were so cute!
They bloody cheeky.... when I was young we had to travel many miles to see Egyptian Geese... now they are common in the suburbs
