How's Going Friends?
On week-end we went to Dollarstore and for sure my youngest grabbed all Christmasy things and when we arrived home, it's like Santa threw up in the living room, seriously hahahah
We did a lot of arts and crafts, well more to he bought stuffs, he begged us to help him, he decided watching rather than doing was much better, then left us to finish the job, lol.
So naughty, what a brat my youngest can be.
Anyhoo, one of the artsy fartsy he grabbed was this.

Gimana kabarnya hari ini?
Sabtu Minggu kemarin pas kami jalan-jalan, kami singgah ke toko 10 Ribu-an (Dollarstore), dimana tentunya mereka dah banyak memajang pernak-pernik buat Natalan, yang tentunya super warna-warni dan bikin mata anak kecil keblingeran, bingung mau dibeli semua hahahha
Nah sibungsu tuh kemarin beli alat prakarya berikut ini.
Ceritanya sih dia yang mau buat, tapi ujung-ujungnya, yah mak-nya doang lah yang ngerjain wkwkwk
For sure when I realized what he grabbed, I protested as I know my son, I would always be the one doing stuffs he wants, not his father, not his brother, but me. He fussed so much at the store so my husband caved in.
And of course, once he dropped everything on his bed, I knew right away that I was gonna regret it, for not protesting to my husband at the store lol
Just look at these, sharp things, tons of sequins, yep, there goes my precious 3.5 hours.
Anakku tuh hobinya milih prakarya yang njeliment, kata orang Jawa. Bikin pussssyyyiiiiing mak-nya. Bapaknya dan kakaknya mana mau bantu hahahah Nasib deh jadi emak-emak.
Coba nih lihat aja bahan-bahannya, banyak bener, haiyaaaah, dah kebayang aja bakalan capek, dan bener deh, membutuhkan waktu 3,5 jam buat menyelesaikan prakarya ini.
Apalagi dia maunya mainan di tempat tidur, duduk ga tegak, jadi yah udah, serasa patah-patah deh punggungku wkwkwkwk
Sure it was easy to make, per the box says, but even when there was the pattern, the size of the sequins are not all the same, so end result was not neat as the pattern - but yes, the end result on the box was definitely not neat, what am trying to say, they should make better pattern and unison size of sequins lol
But definitely, if it took me 3-3.5 hours to finish it with broken back and hurting ass for sitting too much and too long, no kids would want to do this, seriously.
Not to mention, there weren't enough green sequins so I could not follow the pattern and my snowman scarf looks differ than the box hahahha
Dasar buatan Cina, murah-meriah, meski kualitas tak jelek-jelek amat, hasil akhir tidak sesuai pola gambar karena manik-manik yang mereka beri, ukurannya ga sama euy. Belum lagi ga banyak, jadi syal orang-orangan salju ku tak sama dengan gambar di kardus mereka hahahah Payah.
Aku sempat mikir, kalau orang dewasa saja butuh waktu 3,5 jam untuk menyelesaikan prakarya ini, masak ada sih anak-anak kecil yang betah duduk selama itu untuk menyelesaikan? Emang sih mudah untuk diikuti, tapi yah itu dia, lama bener buat menyelesaikan hahahha
Ga apa-apa deh, yang penting si percil hepi :)
End result is not too shabby though :P - despite the differ looking of scarf.
I have one happy boy but yeah, my back is broken now Grrrrr lol
