Good good, but what about the morning after? If the Republican party still stands on their own two legs after this loss, who will step up to take their place and who is it good for then? If we see more Trump-like Republicans (and those that act like Trump), then areas under these Republicans will suffer heavily by their crassness. If we see more anti-war, progressive Republicans like the one you interviewed a while back, then maybe the areas under Republican control might have a chance to be better and the future has something to fight for. Regardless, while a morale loss for now, it can come back to sting us harder than we thought if we get more serious forms that'll get the job done once and for all and care not about the ritualistic formalities that coalesced between the two Capitalist parties. For now, let's analyze carefully the morning after and let's see if the same plague hits the Dems as well.
The way I see it, the GOP is already on the verge of dying out. When that happens, something else will take its place. The Democratic Party is already in a Civil War. If things continue the way they are, either Progressives will take over the party & the Corporate Democrats will move to the GOP, or people will leave the Democratic Party to make new parties and the party will become the new Republican Party.
