What the world can learn from China

The development of China is the last few decades has be nothing short of amazing. Few western governments have truly understood the miraculous achievement that China has achieved economically, socially and politically.
While the "Mad King" (Donald Trump) in United States continues to hinder China at every turn, China continues it's level headed approach to maintaining stability in it's own region, China is working diligently at developing its position as a world leader in maintaining global security.

One of the things that most governments of the world have totally failed to understand is that China has a great deal more to offer than just cheap consumer goods.

The management skills of the Chinese government to maintain and control such a large population is well beyond the ability of their US counterparts. You may be saying right now that I'm bashing the US, but that is not true at all. I use the US as the example because the world has been bombarded with American propaganda about China for many decades and this, I feel, makes the US the obvious country to use as a comparison.

While I personally don't agree with a communist system of government, it is appearing to be the less of two evils as the western countries slip deeper into a socialist/fascist governing method, my own country (Australia) included.
Thankfully freedom of speech still exists here in Australia but for how long is yet to be seen.

You may point to the build up of Chinese assets in the South China sea as an example of China failing to bring stability to the region. That would be an incorrect assumption however, as that very build up is directly due to the clear attempt by the US to encircle China with their own military assets. A clear provocation by the US, just as the US is continuing to provoke and inflame the situation with North Korea.

North Korea is a topic that is greatly worrying the world at this point in time and as has been shown by the "Mad King" (Donald Trump) saber rattling and irresponsible provocations are the flavor of the day, which in turn are only making the situation more dangerous with every ill conceived action. China is in a far superior position, not only geographically, culturally and politically but also economically, to deal with any and all potential threats from North korea.

I believe the US is unable to disengage from the issue as they would feel it would detract from their "perceived" rights as sheriff of the world. They think if China was able to solve a problem like North Korea, the US would become irrelevant to global peace keeping. If China was to bring peace, then all the propaganda that China can't be trusted, would fall apart and expose all the lies and deceptions the US has built it's experiment in empire on. The US does not bring peace anywhere, the US brings war. It doesn't matter who solves the problem of North Korea, what matters it that the problem is solved and China is in a better position to do just that, solve the problem.

History has shown us time and time again that lasting peace comes from diplomacy and prosperity, not from the barrel of a gun. All it would take to really set the solution in motion would be for the US to walk away from North Korea and deescalate tensions and allow China to give North korea new options for a peaceful and lasting solution.

It truly is a sad day for the world when Kim Jong-un appears to be more mature than the president of the United States.

What the world can learn from China is that China has methods that work, regardless of your political inclinations.
