The little things
So my husband and I have been together for almost 4 years. You would think that at this point that we would act like it.
We don't, we still look and act like we had just fallen in love. It's great to be honest. I love it that he still kisses me before leaving for work, he still tells me he loves me before walking out the door and then reminds me of it, multiple times a day. Best of all, he still surprises me every day.
Today for example, he let me sleep in knowing that I've been incredibly tired the last couple of days. He still kissed me and told me he loved me, followed with a "have a nice sleep" and he silently did his thing before leaving.
So when I get up I have a routine, I need to do this routine in order to remember taking my medication.
First step of this routine is making my pre breakfast sachet medicine and drink it before making breakfast... So I get to the kitchen and as I reach into the box, I notice a piece of paper wedged in front of my meds.
I was honestly very surprised at this because I could have sworn that it was empty. I figured that my husband must have put it there to get it from getting dirty or wet so I look to see if it's important or not. He did put it there but it was a note meant for me.
My husband isn't one to leave written notes or letters. So to me, this little note is priceless.
It is really the little things that makes love great and it is those little things make us fall more and more in love every day. I'm very lucky to be with someone who treats me like I'm his entire world.
Live by the saying: if you love someone, tell them now because you never know when it will be your last chance.
I hope that all of you have a blessed day.
