Q. Do you understand how voting and curation work in steemit?

In steemit voting is of two types 'Upvote' and 'downvote'. These are used to increase or decrease value of post. Before you set your voting percentage It's automatically set on 100%. If you have SP less than 500 then your voting percentage is automatically set at 100% and if you have SP greater than 500 then you can set your voting percentage by your own choice like this.

Now let's talk about Voting Mana.

When you upvote on someone's post your voting mana decreases by 2% and it also recharges with speed of 20% per 24 hours.

Now when you downvote someone's post your downvoting mana decreases by 8%. You should downvote anyone's post when he/she posts against steemit laws or plagiarizes.

Now let's see what is curation?

In simple words curation is a form of reward when you upvote someone's post. You'll always get curation rewards in form of SP. The author gets 50% of the rewards and the curators get 50% of the rewards

Q. What happened if you vote a post before 5 minutes marks after posting?

If you vote a post before 5 mins rewards will be decreased by this percentage. As shown below
