RE: DONT give UP one BIT - Alt Coins WILL BE BACK with a VENGEANCE
Gold is a bust IMO, DOA as they say. We will see how it plays out, but I don't see enough support behind it to go anywhere.
2X is loosing support and a large number of exchanges have confirmed they will not call it Bitcoin as they had hoped, but list it as an alt coin.
These have made me watch volume a little closer as it will start to spike before a crash or jump in price. But as I suggested to you my plays aren't always long term but rather looking for opportunities to make a quick 10-50% as IOTA had presented the other day. Not sure is you sold any at the peak, but it was a great time to unload some and allow it to drop back into normal trading range then rebuy.
Anyways as for my opinion on long term...I'm always cautious about this entire market. There is so much potential, but SO much risk. People that support feel that the risk isn't real, but it is. Governments can crush this little test of decentralized currency in a heart beat. The wrong fork without replay protection can kill an entire coin (ie 2X). And one or two powerhouse investors can short a coin into the ground getting people to panic sell. These markets are so small other then bitcoin that really any larger investor out there could manipulate these markets without much effort.
Large volume of very small transactions for an up or down movement can swing a major stock which has professional traders and market makers watching things. What do you think they would due to markets that are mainly supported by average people who have little to no real investing knowledge. Put a trading house, or government on a mission and they could cripple any coin they choose IMO.
So with that all said, what is my gut saying for Bitcoin. Right now my thought is 7k for Thanksgiving and 8k by year end. Bold calls, but it's what I am thinking.
Not sure longer term then that. At some point there will be a substantial pullback and when that happens a buying opportunity will present itself IMO. Don't see Bitcoin dropping to nothing unless there is a major flaw is 2X or a future fork that causes major issues.
There is still plenty of room for more players. The bottom feeders will fall off soon enough and the cream will rise to the top. If your holding a coin that isn't top 30 in volume you need a serious reason to be doing so IMO. Lots of pump and dump scams out there. Nothing wrong with riding the pump, just make sure to get out before the dump.
