Anyone else having trouble viewing their private "Active Key"?
I understand that following the recent hack the Steemit permissions page which houses the private keys was inactivated to only show public keys (for obvious reasons).
However since the ability to view private keys has returned I have been unable to view my Active Key's private key.
The other private keys work as expected but when I click on the Active Key "login box" and successfully authenticate it doesn't change and continues to show the public key only.
No error message is shown. As I said I can see the other private keys.
Is anyone else having the same issue? Is there a solution.
Thanks for your feedback .. I'll pass it along. After you login the button label changes to "Show Active Key" .. Click once more to see it. It should have just shown you automatically.
Thank you for looking into it. No the "Show Active Key" button doesn't appear after successfully logging in. It simply goes back to showing the "Login to Show" box.
Did you just change your password? Looks like the owner key was updated recently. If you did not change your password you can use Stolen Account Recovery in the side bar.
Yes I did recently change it to see if that would make a difference. The problem is still the same.
Did you ever figure this out? I'm having the same issue now. I haven't been able to transfer anything, and it's starting to really piss me off. I log in, and all of a sudden it's not recognizing my active key, so when I log in to view my key, it logs me in but just asks me to log in to view private code again even though I'm already logged in. Any help?

Figured it out. No clue why it happened, but my key code stopped being recognized. Had to go through all my notes if all my master passwords, but I found it so I'm good to go. Thanks!

Weird - have you specifically checked the Active key though - the others work for me only that one doesn't.

It's odd. I'm wondering if maybe it is related to the recent hard fork.
Last I checked I was not able to access my owner key even when I was logged in with the master password. I was thinking maybe I had to get paid once or something before I could see it. Who would I contact about it if it continued to be an issue for me?
Not sure. I think just make a post like this with #help as one of the tags might work.
Well it's still not working. I've tried logging out then in, closing the browser, restarting. Everything I can think of and it makes no difference.
