50 Shades of Zoe Photoshoot - Monochrome Photography (Safe for work)
Introduction
Everyone seemed to like my previous photos of Zoe C.T. so I thought I would post some more photos of her.
These are a series of shots from a "50 Shades of Grey" themed shoot with her.
At the time I had know idea what 50 Shades of Grey was in terms of subject matter.
No need to worry though it is safe for work and there is no S&M involved. Zoe is just reading the book in the photos.
Processing wise I went for a more contrasty look with this one. Black and White processing was done in Nik Silver Effex Pro. Hope you like it.
Equipment used:
- Nikon D800 Camera
- Nikon 85mm/1.8 Prime lens - my favourite lens.
- Dual Nikon Flash with Beauty dish and 2 x soft boxes.

Your work is evocative. I like that the model is clothed, it leaves so much to the imagination which is far sexier in my opinion. You have captured this model's intensity, it has a lovely feel of a modern day Marlene Dietrich shoot.

Sometimes, black and white photos express more than their colored counterparts. Amazing shots, I like the way you angled the whole piece! Great work!

Black and white with noise :-) I like it.
Only lightroom ?
Thanks. It's Lightroom with Nik Silver Effex Pro plugin - most of the same effect can be achieved with Lightroom. In fact I often just use Lightroom on it's own. I have a lot of presets stored in the plugin so it is faster than fiddling with all the Lightroom sliders.
