GOOD DAY STEEMIT!
Silicon Valley is a relatively new show that has been around for about two years, It is a tech based comedy show that is very well put together, the cast and story line are absolutely perfect, and the comedy is fantastic.
Without giving away to many spoilers i wanted to ask a question about the latest season, season three.
In this latest season, which is about 5 episodes in, the main character "Richard", is developing a decentralized platform which will effectively render servers useless. They are calling it a new internet, the idea sounds familiar right? I am not very savvy on the tech side of things when it comes to crypto currencies and smart contracts, but i was wondering can someone tell me if this is in fact inspired by ether? There has been no mention of ethereum at all in the show yet, I feel very certain that's where they got the idea, any thoughts?

I do watch it, and while I am not sure if it was inspired by ether, that is what I thought of.

Silicon Valley is one of the best shows out there. I like Mike Judge a lot. and thought that Idiocracy was awesome and prophetic! And yes I like the decentralize direction this season is going!
