Introducing good habits to kittens from birth is essential to get them accustom to a healthy and friendly lifestyle. This includes handling through human interaction and experiencing a variety in their diet so that they may enjoy many sources of food as they grow up.

Much of this is reliant on the breeder providing care but there are certain behavioural patterns that are introduced by the queen. Cats are known to be hygienic creatures that enjoy copious amounts of grooming. Kittens will fast be introduced to this way of life by their mother. After progressing onto solid foods, it will mark the time that the kittens will be introduced to the litter tray.
