Oh Canada!
The vastness of Canada
never ceases to surprise and amaze me. I've still not managed to explore my own country in its entirety. I've managed to see a bit of everything west of Ontario, even some of the North West Territories, Yellowknife and Great Slave Lake.
This picture is looking out
over the North Pacific Ocean on Canada's west coast near Victoria British Columbia. The wind was really brisk that day and the smell of the ocean was wonderful. If I could transport people there through a picture it would be truly wonderful.
Crossing to Vancouver Island
on the ferry it was amazing to see whales playing in the bay. It was the first time seeing them for me and the power of their tails was incredible to see.
Great beauty is often mingled
with some pain and sadness. I was also saying goodbye to an old friend. We both knew it was our last visit. I can still hear your voice on the wind. Travel well old friend.

I too need to set out across our vast land. I have only ever seen the Western Provinces.
Yes, it's a simply amazing place and I have to remind myself constantly that people come here from all over the world to explore. How much more should we?? :D

Beautiful shot brother. The water has always been some kind of solace for me. It is a place I go to heal. Peace friend.
So yah, interesting thing my man. Water is a really creating connector for me. So much so that I have to have an underwater dive board in my shower. Can't stop the process when I'm in water so I roll with it and have run the hot water out many a time.
