Word on the BLOCK: 28th February

Hello everybody and welcome to the latest Blocknet newsletter update of 2018! This newsletter is released twice per month to keep the community up to date on what is happening with Blocknet. You can view the previous newsletter here.

• The Blocknet DX Beta will be launched tomorrow, March 1st. Feedback is encouraged and can be submitted through this Google Form. Improvements will continue for both functionality and ease of use and your feedback will help greatly in this process!
• The new Blocknet website will go live tomorrow, March 1st.
• The Blocknet DX brand reveal will be presented tomorrow (1st March) by VSA at 11:30am EST / 4:30pm UTC +0 on the Blocknet YouTube channel. Stay tuned for the link to the presentation.
• Blocknet will be attending TokenFest in San Francisco, March 15-16 so be sure to stop by our booth!
• The Blocknet co-founder, Arlyn Culwick, has been interviewed by Alex on the CryptoCandor Youtube channel and has answered a list of questions gathered by the community.
• The introductory Blocknet video Bob and Mav have been working on is now complete. It will be released tomorrow, March 1st, with the new website via a live stream with VSA Partners that will walk the community through the new Blocknet DX brand and logo, and reveal the new Blocknet promo video in conjunction with the Beta launch of the Blocknet Decentralized Exchange! It will take place at 10:30 CT (16:30 UTC). You can view the live stream on our YouTube channel.

• Juan has joined as a contributor to continue work on XBridge development and the DX API.
• Impulse2009 has joined as a contributor dedicated to creating builds.

• A collection of tutorials for the Blocknet Decentralized Exchange have been created and will go live with the new website tomorrow. These tutorials will continue to be created over time with more additions, clarifications, and videos. If there are any suggestions on how to improve on this documentation, we’d love to hear your thoughts by submitting them through this Google Form.
• A support page has been created to help track and field all support items. This will go live with the new website tomorrow and all issues should be submitted via this page.
• The Blocknet Roadmap can be viewed here.

Blocknet will be represented at the following events:

1. Blockchain Africa on 8th — 9th March.
2. TokenFest in San Francisco on March 15th and 16th.
3. Global Blockchain Expo in London (the largest in the world) on 18th — 19th April.
4. Amsterdam Blockchain Expo on 27th — 28th June.
5. San Jose, California Blockchain Expo on 28th — 29th November

• There are 3 proposals submitted for Superblock 302400. Voting will close March 8th at around 2pm UTC+0. In order for a proposal to pass, it must have a majority in favor and at least 10% of Service Nodes must have voted for that proposal in either direction or abstained. • So far 196 coins have been addressed. (7 additions since last newsletter.) 50 are currently finalized (32 unannounced, 18 announced) The 18 announced are:

• In addition 12 coins are being reviewed for possible custom integration.
• 162 different coins have had orders placed on the DEX. (4 additions since last newsletter.)

• The price of BLOCK is currently at $37.00 (0.00351472 BTC) at time of writing.
