Keep Your Eyes Open!

It’s very easy to be distracted these days. Everyone is always looking at their phones every fifteen seconds, or fiddling with gps, radios, taking big sips of coffee with the head back, choking down fast food...

It’s bad enough when people are engaging in such distractions walking around, or indoors, but behind the wheel is when it gets so dangerous. We’re all guilty, and I’m no exception, but it’s still good to be reminded every once in a while to stay safe and alert on the road!

This is the fresh aftermath of an accident I drove through this afternoon that happened mere moments before I came up on it. There were four to five cars involved, and thankfully it looked like no one was seriously injured. But still, it causes congestion, and a lot of damage and distress for those involved. The congestion also brings its own hazards too, because people aren’t expecting it and it can be its own distraction and cause more accidents!
