No one is Happy. Are you?
In this world of materialism and technology, we have gone too far. Everyday we are upto something new. We are building rockets, aiming for mars, adopting electric vehicles, Entrepreneurship is cool status and 5G is around the corner. Somewhere in all this I feel like we have lost or don't know what. I am not against progress or Science, I endorse them being a science student.Then why we see no one is happy where he or she is.
We should be humble but more than that foolish and hungry for success and everything whatever we want from life but at the end of day you have to have be satisfied and proud of. I see everywhere around me,mostly no one is happy. Whether it is about their jobs or studies or relationships or personal life.
Is it just about me or you have witnessed that too?

People confuse happiness with materialism and that will always make them miserable.
It is true you need money and other stuff, without them now life is not possible but we will have to learn to keep some balance between all of this.
Happiness is a choice we make on a daily basis. No one else can make us happy, that is entirely up to us to decide. We can have "heaven on earth" or "hell on earth", and I know which one I would choose.
Yes your are right claudiaz. It is totally upto us. No one else care for you and why he/she should care .You are pilot of your own plane.
If I could ask what makes you happy? For me when I see my family happy and people around me if they ever need my help I could help them this makes me happy.
So forgive the cliche response but in the first making of the movie Jurassic Park, Jeff Goldblum's character says this:
"Your scientists were so preoccupied with whether or not they could, they didn’t stop to think if they should."
While the scenario in the movie hardly equates to real life, it's worth repeating. What is the destination where all of this technology ends? Will it aid us as humans?
I'm no Luddite, however the technology being developed doesn't seem to make our better. Easier, perhaps but doesn't do much for us to returning to embracing humanity as a whole.
My opinion is that it is to make a small amount of folks very rich while at the same time furthering a complete infrastructure that can control and manipulate masses of people. I'm weird like that.

Yes technology has made our lives easier but at the same time they have become complex.We have no time for people now, we are very much active on social media but we don't even talk to our neighbours.

I don't think this box could contain all of the words that I could use to fit them. However, I will give this. The same as you, seeing my family happy and healthy. Seeing folks try, fail and try again to achieve their successes. The sharing of bounty. Not in a mandated way mind you but in good willed charity to those who need it, not only those who ask.
Seeing healthy debate. Watching someones brow lift as thought they've learned something or have a teachable point to make.
Watching mother nature in all its unmolested splendor.
