Today I will present you a drawing which I have worked based on a design already made by another artist (unknown), unlike I have removed, put and/or supplanted, some elements, and I have given my own original touch, even though this is not my favorite animated series I have decided to make this beautiful representation of Homer thinking that they would like to see my followers...

I'll tell you a little about where this famous character takes center stage...

THE SIMPSONS

The Simpson family is a peculiar family. A son whose only aspiration is to create conflicts; a pedantic daughter with serious emotional problems; a wife with a mane of blue color of more than half a meter high and with a blood so cold that for many problems that the family gives never gets angry. And an exceptional husband: vague, uneducated and alcoholic. The only one that seems to be saved is little Maggie. But the truth is that, deep down, they love each other. They are the living image of the typical American family, taken to the extreme extremes. This series created by Matt Groening enjoys a resounding success in the whole world.

Creator Matt Groening names the characters in honor of members of his own family, but replaced his own name with "Bart."

The distinctive yellow tone of the characters was chosen in part to make the show stand out when someone was changing television channels in search of something to watch.

Time magazine named it the best television program of the twentieth century.

Michael Jackson participated as a guest actor, playing a mentally ill person during a third season episode, "Dad is crazy", in which Homer Simpson is sent to a mental institution. For contractual reasons, he was accredited as John Jay Smith.

Veteran actor Hank Azaria gives voice to 16 recurring characters, including bartender Moe, boss Wiggum and Apu, the owner of the convenience store.

On the other hand, the character in representation of this animated series and protagonist in my work is ..

HOMER SIMPSON

He is a fictional character in the cartoon television series The Simpsons. He is the father of the family protagonist and one of the central and most important characters of the series. It was created by the cartoonist Matt Groening.

If you look at Homer in a half profile, you can see that part of the lateral hair corresponds to an M and the ear has a very distant similar to a G (MG, the initials of Matt Groening).

Homer believes in God but does bad things as if he were not afraid of him.

He is homophobic, but he has homosexual tendencies.

Now, let's talk about my particular design...

Black and brown fine point marker.
Colors in different tones.

I started doing the sketch, the head and face of homero...

Then I began to outline with brown and black fine point marker...

Followed by coloring and details to the top of the head of this.

I colored the rest of his face.

Continuously color Homer's mouth.

I gave color to his eyes.

FINAL SCORE.

And finally I colored the background of the character.
