Golden Globes 2018: The Winners
So the award season is officially upon us as the Golden Globes awards were held last night and even though I went in not rooting for anyone, there were still a few surprises.
Also now, we know the frontrunners for the Oscars
The winners for the Best Motion Picture Drama and Musical progress Comedy were Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri and Lady Bird respectively.
Now, I haven't seen any of these movies, but I was actually thought The Post was going to win in. A movie with Tom Hanks and Meryl Streep, directed by Stephen Spielberg. What could go wrong? But I've been reading reviews of the movie and it's looking good. Can't wait to watch it and tell you guys what I think.
In a great group of nominees for the Best Actor, Gary Oldman won. James Franco also won a Best Actor award for Musical or Comedy.
In the Television categories, my favorites, Sterling K. Brown and Aziz Ansari both won Best Actor awards.
The biggest winners of the night were Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri and Big Little Lies who won four awards each.
