Color Challenge - Monday Red - Winter Holly

The only good thing about winter is at least it's pretty...

I have a holly tree in my back yard, and I've been waiting a while for our first snow so I could get a picture like this. I hate almost everything about winter. Being a very slim individual, I despise the cold. Snow and ice are a hassle, but at least it's all pretty to look at while I'm sitting in my warm house.

Some quick facts about holly trees:

The "berries" on this tree are actually drupes like coconuts, coffee, and peaches.
Many birds and other animals eat these fruits, though they are mildly toxic to humans, causing vomiting and diarrhea if someone ingests them, and eating more than 20 of these little "berries" can be fatal to children...
The holly tree is becoming an invasive species in the western United States, after being brought to the region for commercialism.
