Many will enter, few will win.

Trying not to dawdle, but the freedom of the weekend presents a distraction. But the other night I had the chance to visit the fine arts museum in the city and get a better grasp of art on display.

Needless to say there is a lot to take into account considering printing photography for display purposes. Concerning my photos especially, I believe larger prints will bode well for my horizontal photographs as they present their own landscapes. But at the same token, I'd like my vertical portraits to be a certain size, as I mentally picture them as movie posters or pop art. An exaggeration of the size is necessary for salience and impact.

So I'm working, and pretty soon it'll be a grind for the proposal and subsequent weeks to come. I want this to be a stepping stone for bigger and better things.
