FILTERs & SELFIEs : LIFE OF AN AVERAGE GIRL : 21st century life hacks

None of us can deny the way technology has changed our lives. Mobile phone has reached everyone and day by day they are reaching mass because our technology is getting cost effective too.
And when it comes to pictures, two things have taken toll over everything : SELFIES AND FILTERS.

If we talk about real beauty or the meaning of beautiful, it comes from within , no denial, but the world is harsh and everybody wants to look good because that does matter, in my experience or opinion atleast. Selfies and filters does help in looking in pictures.

Almost everyday we take selfies when we go out, when we look good, when we try on some new look or when we are with some special people.

I take selfies to pamper myself, to tell myself that i am beautiful or may be just to check how i am looking on an average day. I majorly do this at my workplace.

For the major part, i am a SELFIE ADDICT, if one day i wake up and some selfie apocalypse happens, i really would not be happy with my life anymore. Though i take selfies everywhere and so do everyone when they go out, but for me its a part of routine, my to-do list of everyday which is evident below when i take them sitting at the same exact desk everyday.

I would not suggest you all to get addicted to selfies but yeah we should take selfie often for fun and to pamper ourselves (specially girls :p becausr girls love to pamper themselves).

Now i want to talk about FILTERS which have taken over everything and there are so many applications out there to put filters on pictures with.

On one side there are dramatic filters which gives you pictures like :

Then there are filters which gives you shade over your original picture :

1. The SHADING FILTERS : just give a shade and make you look good in a diffetent way, i have done the shading in below picture using a camera filter in my xiaomi phone :

Then there is PRISMA which came to trend a while ago and would create such realistic and eyepleasing comic version of your picture :

1. The DRAMATIC FILTERS :
   Snapchat and B612 are two applications i use sometimes to have fun with my selfies. This below is an indian Filter newly launched by Snapchat and i love it( it puts the lipstick on point :p) .

As i am an indian hindu and would be an indian bride so i will not get a chance to see how would i look if i be a Christian bride but hell yeah this filter gave me the access or atleast the imagination power for it :

I can look like a cute school girl and i can look like an old granny both at the same time, while in reality i am a young woman :

I try the filters with my friends and we look more cute, the way these filters puff up your cheeks, put a little pink blush and lipstick to you and widen up your eyes does the trick to make you look cute :

And the filters doed not leave us alone even when we are going to a party :

The involvement of filters and selfies in life is so deep that my nieces, one is 6 and another one is 1 year old, they would pose with me, and be static for the picture. I was surprised when my 1 year old niece stopped moving on putting filter at her face and it got all her attention and i could take a selfie with her.

Future is going to be unpredictable and i believe, we should just enjoy as life comes to us, be it in form of technology itself.
