A Mythical Beast

This is me and these will be my stories - and my life. It's very nice to meet all of you.

My name is Griffin (I've heard all the Harry Potter jokes) and I'm a 28 year old gal originally from Winnipeg (the depths of the countryside, actually), Manitoba. It will be two years in February since I packed up all my belongings and took a one way flight to the centre of the universe (or so it seems) - Toronto, Ontario. "Toronto, Canada" as many just decide to drop the "Ontario" altogether.







The macrocosm:
I have a trove of stories behind me, I've lived a thousand years at 28. I'm a creative and a music aficionadette. I live for music. I'm a graphic designer, blogger, radio show host, romantic, dreamer. I was raised by a single Dad. I skipped out on Winnipeg largely because of heartbreak. Toronto didn't save me from that. After a year and a half of traumatic events in the 416, I am happy to report .. I am happy again. And ready to show that emotion creatively, for you. In photos, words, ramblings, recipes..

The microcosm:
I wear enough red lipstick to carry the whole lipstick industry on my shoulders and I put hot sauce on everything. Including salad. Today I am slow cooking a green curry with tofu, as therapy. I cook a lot. I am happy again.
