The Boruto anime is trash

After the complete failure that was the war arc of Naruto, Boruto had very big shoes to fill. Instead of beginning in a fresh way with new characters, it just tries to bait you into waiting to see the old cast dying.

Then they waste 14 episodes of nothing interesting happening, supposed for making us like the new characters. Nobody liked the new characters. Then things get interesting by adding a threat for a change and here you are waiting to see how Boruto is going to deal with it differently from his dad. And he doesn’t. He just talk no jutsus the enemy into being a friend. Why is Boruto constantly nagging about doing things differently from his father and then proceeds to do things in the exact same way?

Then comes the terrible Naruto Gaiden arc, where Boruto is not even in it and it’s once again Naruto hoarding all the attention, plus some really terrible writing concerning the plot twists.

The anime is pure milking with nothing new or interesting to keep you engaged. A disgrace to a once great fighting shonen, until gaysuke high-jacked the plot.
