One of the birds that symbolizes strength and power in several nations, is undoubtedly the golden eagle and thanks to this, it is considered the most emblematic species of all time. Its scientific name is Aquila Chrysaetos and although it is traditionally known as a golden eagle, in the most distant latitudes of the European and American continent, it is known as a caudal eagle.

This beautiful raptor stands out for the imposing dark brown plumage it has and, something surprising that stands out in the appearance of the golden eagle is that, when the sunlight hits it, the feathers look brighter and the shade of brown is lighter. As for the color of the legs and the belly area, the tone it has is lighter brown with white. The beak and claws retain a wonderful yellow hue.

The size of the golden eagle is significantly large, when compared to the other birds in the same category; it can easily measure between 76 centimeters or reach a meter long and the length varies according to the sex of the animal. Now, when this species opens its wings, it measures more than 2 and a half meters; a measure that is calculated from one wing to the other.

The golden eagle by nature adapts easily to the environment and thanks to this particularity, we can see it in almost all the continents that make up the world. The most precise feature that these areas must have is, to be in the air totally free where they can fly with total freedom and at the same time, perform the hunting activity without any problem. It should be noted that, the area where they make life, should have rabbits and otters since, these are the favorite foods of this bird.

An example of this is that, warm areas allow them to carry out the breeding process with confidence and if they are not in that process, they can be located in slightly colder areas between Asia and Europe. Some of them are better adapted in the southern territory of the American continent.
