Big cooking competition week 2 The chickpea rice!
Hi, everyone. I hope all of you are doing well and enjoying the weather. As we know this competition is about vegetarian dish. I always like to eat vegetarian dishes.
Today i am sharing the the full recipe of chickpea rice. It is fully vageterian dish. It's so delicious and flavourful that make your day.
Chickpea rice
Ingredients
Onion 2 medium size
Green chillies 5-6 normal size
Tomato 1 big size
Coriander for garnishing
Garlic 15-16
Ginger 2 inches
Chickpea 1/2 kg
Rice 1 kg
Water 2 litter
Oil 2 cups
Red chilli 2 spoon
Salt 3 spoon
Garam masala 1/2 spoon
Cumin 1/2 spoon
preparation
First step is to on the flame.
Second step is add chickpea in a saucepan add water till the chikpea fully cover.
Boiled for 1 hour. Now we check the chickpea are they soft or not.
They are ready now we off the flame.
Now we go to our next step.
We wash onion, tomato, green chillis, ginger and coriander.
Now we chopped all of them.
Make paste of ginger and garlic.
Cooking session
On the flame. Take a saucepan add 2 cup of oil and ginger garlic paste.Fry them till color change to light brown.
Add onion and fry till there colors comes brown.
Add tomato and green chillies.
Cook for 5 mins.
Add 2 spoon red chilli paste,3 spoon salt and garam masala.
Cover the saucepan with led for 5 mins.
Add boiled chickpea in saucepan and leave for 10 mins.
Add 2 litter water.
Soak the rice till the water boils.
Water start boiling now add rice in saucepan.
Cover with lid till water soaked and make bubbles.Add coriander and green chillies.
Now slow the flame and cover rice for 10 mins.
Yummy chickpea rice are ready now we dishout them.
