STEPS IN ACHIEVING ONES GOAL
Before i digress, let us take a look at the definition of goal.
Goal can be seen as the objective of a persons ambition or effort to achieve a desired result.
There are two types of people, those who set goals and those who don’t. The common thread in both groups is the overwhelming number of people not reaching the big goals that they desire. Contrary to what you’ve heard there is a formula for achieving your goals. And guess what?! It’s not a secret. Nor is it rocket science. Actually, it’s pretty straightforward and logical.
With this been put in place, i will rush down to the above topic to enlighten us on some of the things to note or to be put in place when trying to achieving ones goal.
Below are some tips
1. WRITE DOWN WHAT YOU WANT TO ACHIEVE: Most people don't know what they want to do with their life, and even after thinking hard, they don't come up with something they really want to do. This is one of the main reasons that in spite of so many books on success, most people live an average life.
2. DRAW UP A PLAN: Devote as much time as you need to find a goal or goals, even minor goals are okay. Not everyone really desires great success and is willing to completely change his/her life. Not everyone desires to be a millionaire, or possesses the talent to make money.
3. ACT:Take action and follow the steps on your list. Don't just wait for things to happen.
4. SET A DEADLINE: Set a dead line for yourself. This deadline should act as a reminder in your mind day in day out.
5. BE DETERMINED: Stop feeding your self with the word CAN I. All you should see is positivity of I CAN DO IT. Place your self in balance and get it been done.
6. LISTEN TO ADVICE: Try read books or articles about what you want to achieve. Meet people who can help you relate to it and listen to their advice, but use your common sense and reason before accepting anything.
7. ALTERNATE PLAN: Have alternate plan in case one does not works. Remember the saying dont put all eggs in one basket.
8. EXAMINE YOUR GOAL REGULARLY: It is a good idea to reexamine your goals regularly and weed out the worthless ones.
9. EMBRACE FAILURE: Goal setting rarely runs smoothly. You will hit stumbling blocks that make you question why you attempted in the first place, but that’s part of it, and the sooner you accept that the better. Rather than letting failure bring you down, acknowledge that it’s happened and learn from it.
10. TRACK YOUR EFFORT. Always take a look at how far you have gone and what you lacking and how far you have achieved.

Alot of people do not have the habit of drawing out plans and writing them down. This technique is really an effective culture, that everyone should involve in.
