"Sisters Corner" - (Acrylic Painting).

With so much joy in my heart, I share with you one of my recently concluded painting; in the last two months, I had some sort of reasons to work on some paintings and personally, I did wanted to explore so made this and more!

There so much that lies in the concept of sisterhood but one thing I did captured here as an artist is the love that overshadows the craziness that exists in the corner; in a sister’s corner, you can never but find both love and drama.
It's quite a big canvas but then I still preferred to make my sketch using a charcoal pencil to using a brush and some acrylic paints.
I took my time, made the drawing with all necessary corrections till I was satisfied.
After the making the sketch, for the first time is I started painting, I decided to block my background first and that was because this is the biggest canvas I have ever worked on so far, so I had to block the background so has to have the feeling that I can truly conquer the canvas.
After I had covered the background, I decided to block the figures too using colours not to distant from the background.
At the stage, I had to begin to nurture the contrast I desired in the painting so I used some shades of Orange and Cerulean Blue to throw some lights on the lady on the left hand side.
At this stage, I threw more orange on figures with the aim of pushing out my desired contrast still and I also threw one light grey into the background so as not to have it totally boring.
At this final stage, it was more of my of throwing my strongest lights on the figures with some details and then harnessing the background in order to achieve a more interesting relationship between the figures and the background.
