Pen Figure Drawing. (Chiaroscuro study).

Just like many artists from the renaissance period loved using the "Chiaroscuro" technique in their drawings and paintings, I just discovered after some studies and practices that I actually do love it too. I discovered that the effects of the high contrast in artworks such as drawings and paintings tend to keep the eyes of the viewers busy and even take the eyes on an interesting journey whereby the eyes would first of all magnet to the focal point of the piece and then travel through the details and down to the depth, words can't really explain these things until a viewer or an art critic pays much attention to the aesthetic elements and features of a piece of art!
I am still working and growing, as you can see in the piece above, it's quite advanced than I had some couple of weeks ago, it's just with time and with much studies and practices, I'll be master of drawing too!
