Don't call it an intro

Though, technically, you know, it is. Things are supposed to have beginnings and endings, Wheels of Time be damned, and this is mine. And starting one of those it's only polite to at least say hi.

So hi, Steemit.

It's of course not my first beginning, I've seen a few. The first would have been the one several decades ago on the beaches of Europe, or near enough to them. From there my journey took me from studious child, through rebellious teenager to your stereotypical introvert, cynical software developer. But I'm better now, although I still program for a living.

I have these itches though. Not so much of the unhygienic kind, but more the fun sort of distraction that may not necessarily be productive but nonetheless very satisfying. I'm the proud operator of about a million side projects, commercial and otherwise. I write for fun and one day I will finish that book I've been working on for several years now. I like technology, security, yoga, martial arts, running, gaming, reading, cooking, traveling, nature..

I also could go on for a while.

And I'm not really sure how any of this will be relevant to all of you here. It may be that I will post about some of it. It may be I'll post about none. It will be an adventure for the both of us.
