The Dark Side

I choked the glow of my own moon
And I may crash land it soon
If I keep at letting my negative
Play the role of my seer
Also that of my peer
Helping keep my fear active
For I am the one who also stole
The happy shine of my dying sun.

I harbor enough demon battalions
With their knights riding stallions
To challenge my mental state
Torture me to my inner death
Take away even my last breath
Boldly baptizing it my fate
To forcefully make me my worst critic
This unforgiving bitchy cynic.

I confess to being one of them
Them that lost their phlegm
Continuously gave in to sin
And the unending temptations
Always rising to the occasion
As my morals bled from within
Trying to get the attention of my soul
To implore it away from foul.

I vow to fight for my stars
To religiously count the many scars
Chant my wins from my sank depths
It might reignite these dead brights
Awaken my birds of flight
Raise their wings rhythm from death
To soar my brand new heavens
Made from the rainbow sevens.
