It's Hell On Earth With This Temperature! 50ºC!

Hell on earth...

Today was probably the hottest day of my whole life! I had to spend the whole day under the AC with the AC spitting out air at 19ºC and it still wasn't enough to counteract how hot the air was!

I went out to visit my grandparents during the morning and guess what... my car thermometer measured 45ºC! And this was at 1 pm, the temperature kept rising and rising! One of my friends sent me a picture of his car's thermometer and it was measuring 50ºC in the middle of the afternoon! What the hell is this!

The hottest place on earth is Death Valley! And my town is getting similar and sometimes higher temperatures!

And people still tell me global warming is a hoax... slowly but surely the median yearly temperature is rising. Yes, the temperature is rising because of sun cycles, etc... but that is just adding to the pool of causes! The temperature is rising because of that and because of global warming! Because of the way humans treat our world! Because of pollution! Because of the lack of ice in the poles reflecting out sunrays! Because of so many things that humans do!

The current warming trend is of particular significance because most of it is extremely likely (greater than 95 percent probability) to be the result of human activity since the mid-20th century and proceeding at a rate that is unprecedented over decades to millennia.

Of course, Trump and other rich politicians don't care about this... they are under their AC, and if shit hits the fan they can just buy their way out of this problem! Because yes, there are ways to buy out of this problem! Just build a giant vault-like house and not storms, not tornados, nothing can get inside it!

Elon Musk said it and he was right:

"Anything that pushes carbon into the atmosphere … has to have a price,"

And the price will be increased temperatures, increased storms, increased tornados, the whole climate will change! People will and are dying! The earth will be a lot harder to live in! We might have to live in huge ass bubbles! Or maybe we will have to live in giant 1km high buildings capable of withstanding most storms!

What humanity is doing to the environment is still reversible, but only if we act now... unfortunately there are some that don't believe in all of this evidence, some that think it's just a giant hoax! People like President Trump!

President Trump, the president that got in power appealing to people's fear has done it countless times with his tweets! Saying that, not only is this climate change a giant hoax but that, all the money that was spent trying to prevent it was actually making America weaker against China! Appealing to the American's fear of China, as if... this old fear/warmongering generation really needs to get out of power!

He even went so far as giving a huge middle finger to the Paris Agreement and telling the U.N. that the U.S. would leave the agreement after 2020! Thank god a United States Climate Alliance was done by many states and that many are going to follow the agreement even though they are not part of it! This actually gives me hope for Americans!

And a little more of my country is burning this year... and here I was thinking that after last year's 100-death fire in Pedrogão, Portugal, my country, there wouldn't be anything else to burn this year! I was wrong!

Well, regardless of all of this...I'm now sitting at the desk, with the AC going full blast mode onto my face, the temperature is at 19ºC, and I might very well have to reduce it a couple more Cº because it's still hot! Done... 17ºC! Let's see if I stop sweating!

Question of the day: What temperature are you guys having? Is my town the hottest place on earth? I see people complaining with 30-35ºC... I'm getting 45-50ºC
