Outside the window is still winter, although spring is fast approaching. Most of us are not planning a vacation yet, leaving it for the last bell.
When the hot summer arrives, we will pack up with family or friends and set off to the lakes to cool off. Part will also be resting under a tent, and there, as you know, apart from a tent, you need a place to sleep. In some cases, the foam pad will not work as well as an air mattress.
What do we get?
In the box in which the mattress is packaged, we will also find a card in several languages concerning the mattress. More precisely, the valve itself and a shortened version of how to inflate the mattress and how to drain the air from it.
In addition, the manufacturer provides us with one patch repair, in case the mattress has been damaged.
My first pumping and impressions from use
After unfolding, I opened the valve and connected the hand pump (the manufacturer advises against the use of a machine with compressed air). I took about 5-8 minutes to pump this mattress. Of course, the valve is designed to let air in, not let it out, making it easier to pump.
After reaching the right hardness of the mattress, just close the valve and after the trouble. The mattress is already inflated.
After a few days I spent sleeping on it, I can say that the mattress is comfortable to sleep.
Even if, come to pitch a tent somewhere in the area with tree roots, the mattress will overcome these hardnesses and we will be able to sleep well.
My attention to the mattress
After a few nights, the mattress gently lost its hardness (that is, the air escapes from it).
The velor material from which it is partly made, is very susceptible to dirt, and very attracts dust or other dust, so from time to time you have to wipe it to clean it.
In case of mechanical damage, the patch we received from the manufacturer will be of no value (no matter whether on the top or side of the mattress, you will need a rubber patch to reseal it).
The gum is quite delicate and can be damaged with a sharper fingernail.
My opinion
A mattress purchased at this price, fulfills its basic task, meaning we can sleep well on it. It also isolates us well from cold soil or inequalities. Personally, it's my 4th mattress over these years and I really think it's a great purchase. Personally, I'm happy with the use.
