Question of The Day - CAN A CHRISTIAN DRINK ALCOHOL?

So, upon the launching of a European Airline, it happened an educated Christian gentleman was on board the first class section.

Shortly after the plane took off, an air hostess approached the Christian man with a complimentary drink that happened to be an alcoholic drink. But surprisingly to the hostess, the man refused in the most polite manner.

Thinking she didn't present the drink well enough, the hostess left and returned with the drink beautifully designed on a platter to appeal and impress. Still, the Christian man did not change his stance. This time, he took the pain to explain to the hostess he does not drink anything alcoholic.

Baffled, the hostess opted to inform the manager. And so, it was the manager’s turn to try and convince the man to accept the drink offer. This time, he approached the Christian with a platter beautifully decorated with flowers.

The man quizzed the Christian, “sir is there any fault with our service? Why won't you accept our complimentary offer of this drink? Replying, the man said - “as a Christian, I do not drink alcoholic drinks”.

That said, the Christian then politely requested the manager to the drink to the pilot. What! The manager exclaimed. “How can I give an alcoholic drink to the pilot, he is in duty for crying out loud and could crash land the plane under the influence of alcohol”.

With tears in his eyes the Christian man replied, “that's the point”. “I'm “always” on duty as a Christian and in order to protect my FAITH and not crash land my whole life here and in eternity, I refrain myself from taking alcoholic drinks”.

So the big question is, are you always on duty as a Christian?

Your temptation may come in the form of "sex" and not alcohol as was the case of "Joseph"in the Bible, or with your "attitude"towards others and it could even be in your reluctance to share the word of GOD like "Job"in the Bible etc.

Even if you haven't crash landed yet, do you know that souls are crash landing everyday due to your inability to be 100% on duty as a Christian?
