Night Portraits With My Daughter

It wasn't that long ago that I would literally have to sneak photo's of my daughter. She absolutely hated having them done and wanted nothing to do with the idea of doing a photo shoot.

The phases that kids go through can be quite funny, as a toddler and child she enjoyed them. Then she hit the preteen's and went through a "goth/emo" phase (this is when it was impossible to get photos of her lol) and now as she enters her late teens. She is all for them, When I asked about a photo shoot last night. She was all for it!

We took a wander downtown and did some light painting, light trails and regular portraits with different types of lighting. It was a blast and the photo's turned out great! I am so happy that she is out of the "no photo's" phase lol.
