Another Night Another Light Painting Challenge

Yesterday night I did light figures for the first time, tonight it was light painting orbs. The orbs are fairly common in light painting shots, but I hadn't tried them yet. It has been long overdue!

I went to downtown Hamilton and found a nice and dark alley. Set the camera up and got the lights ready and got to work. My first attempt was with a red and white light and the second was with multiple colors.

Extremely happy with the first two shots, I moved on to a semi dark area across the street from city hall. The Hamilton sign was solid red and white (it usually changes colors), how perfect is that? I got the red and white light out and snapped this shot.

I am very happy with these shots for a first attempt, but do see a lot of room for improvement. This is a style that I will be trying a lot more! Have any ideas you want to share? Let me know in the comments.
