Last week we visited Atlanta and had the chance to see the Atlanta Bitcoin Embassy in Midtown. It was great talking with Nick Tucker, the Chief Operating Officer there. He is the son of Jeffrey Tucker, who is the CEO and a famous speaker, author and all-around great guy.

Jeffrey wasn't there for our visit but he was back in time for the opening night extravaganza on Wednesday 13 June.

I was very impressed that we could purchase some of their T shirts using bitcoin cash. It was incredibly fast and cheap to make the transactions. It took approximately 3 seconds to make the transaction and it cost only about 3 cents. Even though I've been around the bitcoin and cryptocurrency space for quite a while, I am still amazed and excited about the potential of people controlling their own money and being able to do real world transactions.

By the way, please forgive these pictures being on their side. I can't figure out how to straighten them out on my portable device that I'm using. If anyone has some ideas, please leave a note below telling me what I could do while using my Samsung Galaxy note 8. I greatly appreciate your input!20180608_150528.jpg

There is an ATM on location from vault logic that allows people to convert their fiat currency into crypto. This is an amazing accomplishment! My compliments to Doug Scribner and his team for the work they have done on that

If you ever get to Atlanta in your travels, or you live there, be sure to look up the Atlanta Bitcoin Embassy and stop by for a visit. It's a place where you can recover your wallet if you need, get training and education on cryptocurrencies, and get to know some of the best people in the world

And finally, I had to put this picture in that I got at Hartsfield Jackson International airport as I was leaving Atlanta. This is from my Alma mater, Georgia state University. The 2 years and 1/4 I spent there seemed like 4,000 years at the time! However, I'm very glad that I was able to attend and learn a lot.I look forward to hearing from you and getting your comments. Particularly thank you to those who can help me to turn these pictures around using my Samsung Galaxy note 8 while on the road! :)

I had no idea there was a bitcoin embassy in Atlanta. I'll have to check it out when I'm there.

What was the premium on the ATM?

I don't know. I didn't use that while there. However, they would know at the Atlanta Bitcoin Embassy so check it out if you go there.

Very cool Terry, I've been wanting to visit the Embassy for awhile now - thanks for sharing!
