Exciting News About SteemFest
Steemit is having its second annual SteemFest and this year it is scheduled to be held in Lisbon, Portugal 1-5 November 2017. It promises to be packed with learning about Steemit, opportunities for you to connect with the Steemit community, and to have a great time in this charming city.
I’m very excited to let you know that I’ve been asked to be Master of Ceremonies for this event. I’ll be heading up the activities in a second room where you’ll hear from some of the leading experts on Steemit today. In addition to being Master of Ceremonies I am planning to make a presentation myself on how you can generate compelling content that gets attention, and more importantly gets upvotes.
My partner, Gina Carr and I co-authored a book for McGraw-Hill a few years ago entitled, “Klout Matters.” In that book we discussed how to create content that helps get you recognized and raises your Klout Score (a measure of effectiveness in social media). Gina is planning to join me during that presentation to give some money-making ideas you can use that she implements for her clients.

Thank you, Eric. Yes, I'm excited about it. @RoleandP is the official Master of Ceremonies in the main room and I'll be in charge of the secondary room. We are going to pack a lot of great value into all of it. I look forward to seeing you there.
I only wish I was there... The financial funds aren't there to allow me to make it this year but sure envision next year as my first of many SteemFest. Have a great time, keep on taking good care, smiling and thriving.

I'm currently thinking about ways to try and raise the connectivity of the attendees before the festival, if you have any ideas do let me know.

That will be great, Asher! I look forward to seeing you there. Raising the connectivity before the festival? Well, we could arrange for an online meet-up. Something like a YouTube Live event? Perhaps using Webinarjam Studio so we could have several people on board? I'm open to your suggestions.
Excellent thinking, my starting point was a list of attendees with some basic intro's and links to posts which could introduce them, and why they are at the event.
I'm working on that now and could add the above in as suggestions - see if there's any mileage in that?
