Hello Again everybody! I had someone ask me today if I had any suggestions for fire season prepping in California. Now fire season isn't just in California so these suggestion may apply to others as well. I will talk about safety and and fire suppressants and preventative maintenance of your home. Now it may not necessarily prevent your home from catching fir but it could postpone the process!! I hope you all enjoy and find this informative! Thank you everyone. : )

Knowing how to use your fire extinguisher is important also important is making sure the extinguisher is in date and fully charged. Making sure that the area around your house is clear of yard debri...general rule of thumb for this is approx 100 ft of clearance

Definitely had to resteem! Proper use of extinguishers and checking the date on them is a must, thanks for letting others now how to use them!
I also use my nose, if you smell fire grab your binoculars or just look across your property. Sometimes you'll be the first to know even before the news or fire department give out the alert.
