Wet Me Down, I Want Your Rain

in #poem7 years ago

Petals of downpour,
Embedded in multiple,
Coated in silk,
Scattered by the wind,
Making us seek shelter,
The young boy runs faster,
Hungry for home,
His clothes clinging wet,
The old man pulls an umbrella,
Struggling with brief case,
The wind struggles the Umbrella,
Making him soaked in petals,
He goes under shade,
The young madame,
Walking as no regards,
Heading straight,
Rain! Rain! Rain!
As I watch from my top view.

Nice rhymes. Three different characters, the boy is young and should be full of energy. Rain shouldn't be a big deal, I only pity the poor old man, even his umbrella couldn't save him. Poor Grandpa. Weldon Poet
