Hornets to sting the King

in #sportsteem8 years ago (edited)

Hornets are approaching trade deadline w rumors of asking for trades for their star PG Kema Walker.  Is this a real rumor or is MJ lighting a fire under his teams Ass before it's too late to make playoffs?

So this might be Kemba & Howards last chance to take advantage of the powering up Nicolas Batum and put a small run together.

We advise a 8% AUM bet here for following reasons

whoops out of time.

Sort:

While anthem plays we will write our reasons without ruining our time stamp:

#1. Charlotte is a WAY better team than tanking Sacramento. Charlotte could be a playoff team if they get their act together whereas Sacramento is still at tail end of experimental mode.

#2. Home is great for money line bets.

#3. Injuries favor Charlotte. Gilchrist won't play but his abscense might be beneficial as Lamb has been great this season and will get more play along w Traveon Graham. Whereas Sac will only improve a smidge via playing Vince Carter tonite.

#5. Incentive to win for Kemba cited above.

Kings start game off 5-0.

Update on Kemba: Michael Jordan said he'd need an all-star to trade Kemba Walker, so THAT Woj rumor is debunked.

“We bred him, we chose him, we groomed him to be a good player for us,
It’s not like we are shopping him. We would not just give him up. I love Kemba Walker. I would not trade him for anything but an All-Star player. I certainly haven’t given up on our best player. He’s done a hell of a job of turning himself into an All-Star"-- Michael Jordan via the Charlotte Observer

Gotta love MJ.

Hornets indeed beat the Kings 112 to 107, and it was a bigger blowout than the score accounted as Charlotte was up 17 before the 4th qtr started. GOOD teams take a lead like that, and easily win the game no matter what the other team does in the final quarter, which brings us to our SIXERS pick last night... (see Sixers article).
