NEVER TAKE TEMPTATIONS PERSONAL

Hello steemians and members of heartchurch ❤️ today, I was opportune to handle the Search the Scriptures lessons in my district church which centered on TEMPTATION. This lesson reminded me of the disappointment I have faced lately. I wouldn't want to bore you with my experience, though at some point, I got discouraged. I mean just when it was getting right, something disrupted it.

Then, I noticed too that temptation, trials, tests, etc comes our way to strengthen us spiritually, because that's exactly how this series of disappointments made me become. Like mine, the temptation can come in different forms. It could be through disappointment like mine. It could be through financial instability, sickness, loss of loved ones, academic issues, etc.

This has made me to realized that everyone has a fair share of their temptations. I have mine. You have your. But like the scripture says in 1 Corinthians 10:13 MSG, "No test or temptation that comes your way is beyond the course of what others have had to face. All you need to remember is that God will never let you down; he’ll never let you be pushed past your limit; he’ll always be there to help you come through it."

Remember too, when you're tempted, tried, or examined, when unlikely challenges come your way, be careful of your action and words. Don't get angry like Job's wife, who said where's the God you've been serving for years, why would he allow you to pass through this, curse him and die, if Job had listened to his wife's foolish advice, his latter end would have been worst. Unknown to him too, that God had prepared a better ending for him.

Don't give up on your dream, challenges here and there, remember Joseph, even in a foreign land, he said, "how can I do this great wickedness and sin against God", if he had slept with Potiphar's wife, his greatness would have gone to abrupt darkness.

I could go on and on, but don't stop praying for your situation and trusting God for strength to overcome them, be around godly people who would encourage you, don't say there's nothing that can be done, a little prayer like the one Esther prayed with her maid, turned the hand of the clock which made the King sleepless and pondered on "what could be done to the man whom the king delighteth to honor". Perhaps, if she didn't recognize the importance of prayer in such challenging times, her people would have perished and Mordecai wouldn't have been honored.

The trials that come your way may not seem clear to you, but, is clearer to God. What seems impossible to you, with God all impossibilities are possible. When all hope seems lost, like Hezekiah, remind God of his promises, remind Him of His Word, His promises for you are yea and Amen.

This week and henceforth, I see you as an overcomer, a conqueror, and an unrelenting soldier of God. With God and you in the battle, know that you're a winner already.
