My Riant Friend | 100% charcoal

Hello friends and my fellow artist/creative minds in @worldofxpilar how is the weather over there. As for me it's Windy, dry and cold in the morning but very hot at noon. We call it "harmattan" season just like Autumn in America and Canada. It is common down here in Africa...We are approaching December. How will your Christmas be? People have start preparing for it here. Kids are already anticipating gift from parents and other elders in the family. Eh! I nearly forgot. We will be having Steemians end of the year meeting this month in my town Akwa Ibom State, Uyo precisely.
Good day Steemians . I'm here to present my most recent realistic charcoal pencil portrait of my recent commission piece I did for my Friend Miss. Juliet Asa. I did the drawing in October when it was still raining heavily down here, so I could not shoot my work.
The continuous rainfall could not allow me to take plenty progress shots like I always do, that's because I always take my shots outdoors and the 🌞 sunlight is my best light source.
The drawing is one of my best portrait of the year.
I had already did a portrait for her, but could not give it to her because I wanted it to be among my personal.

Pencils	Charcoal pencil and Charcoal powder
Eraser	Tombo mono zero and watermelon vinyl eraser
Camera	Infinix Smart HD 2021
Duration	Approximately 98hrs
Location	Studio

Here are the steps on how I did the portrait. I drew my grid lines and made my sketch then started shading it gradually. Starting from the eyes, hair down to her face and to the whole work which includes the neck and her clothe.
I made sure I did a very good detailing for a clean finishing.
