If there is one good thing for Russia about the war in Syria, than it is that its arms industry can show off in a way we haven't seen since the Soviet war in Afghanistan. Keep in mind that while they are spectacular and effectfull, these cruise missiles are expensive and not technically necessary to use against terrorists – an old fashioned FAB-250 dropped from a Su-24 would do just as well.

These cruise missile demonstrations must be seen as a show of Russia's capabilities to NATO and the U.S. (and as PR for the international arms market). Well, but at least we get to watch these disgusting terrorists get blown up with high-tech weapons from the comfort of our homes. I personally enjoyed the show.
