A Football Team
The game I will be talking about today is that of football.
Foot ball is one of the most popular field games we have over here in Nigeria and it was brought into Nigeria by the colonial masters.
Nigerians have their own football association which is NFA (Nigeria Football Association), there have risen a lot of great Nigerian footballers whom have existed in the history of time.
This game in Nigeria is played with so much passion and strength and it is loved by many. Some Nigerian men can spend all that they have just to watch a football program and hence celebrate it’s success.
The facilities required to play football include;
A field for the game which is called a football field.
A whistle which is required by the referee to control the game.
A Jersey required by the players for easy identification of their team members and to as well represent their team or country.
A stockings usually won by the players.
A goal post which determines the scorer in a game.
Football happens to be the most important item in this game, without a football in a game, there is no football game.
Boots won by the players to ensure safety of their foot.
The football pitch is usually rectangular in shape, it is usually grassy and it is a flat surface. The field is usually divided into two equal halves by a center line and the entire field is usually marked by boundary lines.
