It's Not True

In the stillness of the night
There's something I want in sight
Amidst the cold and eerie breeze
My heart, I felt it squeeze

I directed my gaze to the sky above
Numerous twinkling stars that I do love
Amazingly saw one fell after another
I whispered a plea to be with you forever

Heaving a sigh, I savoured the moment
This, indeed, is a magnificent bestowment
Though afar, we sure are connected
This is fate... our love is perfected

Or so I thought, but I was wrong
It wasn't with me whom you belong
This is just fiction, it's a fairytale
Prepare the glass, bring in the ale!

It's funny how my conversation with a friend inspired me to create this poem. Earlier today, I and my friend were chatting in LINE and we were just randomly talking about our "lovelife". We both thought it was real and that it was perfect, but yeah... we're still thinking of having a happy ending despite all these.. lol

Carpe Diem and leave no regrets! Well, if everything ends up bad, we can always cry it off and move on. <3
