The Geek Friends #2 : Yearend Dimsum Party

Most my days at work are fun filled. Although there are times when I feel so stressed and tired, these people always bring out the fun. We randomly talk about evrything under the sun. May it be about stocks, trading, finances, family, jokes, tasks and even pooping. I could say that when I get trapped or stucked somewhere, I'm sure that I'd would be fine if it's with them.
We have Sir Chris @robin-ho on our team. He is the cool dad and tito of the team. He's the jolliest among all the other members. He's actually the person who introduced all of us to Steemit. We also have our other boys, @chinitooo @an0na @jepu , Ralph, Justine and Sevs. And for the girls, we have @wens @athenamae, Harriete and me.
During our daily meetings we usually end up spending more time talking about non project related stuffs. Hahaha ooops. I'm really happy on how this team became this close. The team used to be a dull team with zero team gatherings, no lunch outs. I'm really really glad that we already became a family. And that's because of everyone's effort.
Few weeks ago, we decided to have yearend lunch out. We sorta have our sinking fund and our cool tito @robin-ho and our instsik @jepu also shared some of their blessings, so we finally have our lunch out today.
We dined at Ding Qua Qua, located on the 2nd floor of JY Square Mall, Salinas Drive, Lahug, Cebu City. Ding Qua Qua is a Chinese restaurant that offers Chinese cuisine lunch and dinner buffet. This restaurant is actually one of the most affordable Chinese restaurant in the city. For PHP 289, you get to enjoy the Chinese cuisine buffet and bottomless iced tea.
Whoah, imagine the juicy and meaty pork siomai. God! I'm drooling right now. All of us were sooooo full that we wanted to sleep right after eating. Hahahaha
And so after devouring the dimsums, while letting our tummies digest the sumptuous lunch that we had - we exchanged gifts. Our budget was just PHP 100, but of course if someone feels extra generous then it's fine also to give something worth more than a hundred bucks. Whooah! See those faces? We're all happy. Wish we could frame these photos and hang it in our work space.
I'm really glad that we've found a family on each other at the office.
