Muscari belongs to the onion plants of the family Hyacinthae. In total there are about 60 species of muscari, in our latitudes - about 20 species. In nature, muscari grows in the steppes, in the mountains on open slopes, at the edge of the forest, among shrubs and in alpine meadows.
Flowers muscari are small in size - their height rarely reaches even 30cm. Most flowers grow to 10-20 cm. The inflorescences themselves consist of a multitude (about 100 - 150) of small flowers collected in a dense upper brush 2 to 8 cm in length.
