Surprised to see butterflys still hanging around

I guess we are having what is referred as an Indian summer because I spied a ton of butterflies on our land yesterday. So I decided to see if I could capture a few shots of them. Normally they have started migrating but the temperatures have been warmer than normal and that is good for a few shots. Not to mention good weather is good for our build. It feels great to have my schedule freeing up so I can get back to my photography. I can't wait to have this build done with so I can have all my time back that I once had to focus on other things then this house. Here are a few of the shots I captured. I hope you enjoy them.

I also kind of wish fall would finally arrived so I can get some good photos of the trees changing colors. But so far very little change of the color of the leaves. But hopefully in a couple of weeks I have some great fall backgrounds for some portraits. Speaking of portraits I need to get to bed, as I have a photo shoot in the morning to do.         thats an awesome shot of the butterfly in the sun, the image is done well looking at both the butterfly and the plants are clear, everything is in focus. love it, the butterfly seem to be enjoying the sun

                  Hope we end up having an extension of fall colors and weather instead of skipping by most of it into winter. I'm ready to have a couple of months to make preparations for winter before getting snowed-in or slicked-in...
