My tomatoes have sprouted
It rain very hard after it was done I decided to go check my plants.
I am so excited to see my plants starting to fruit. These are my roman tomato plants my big boy plants and peppers should be starting to produce their fruits sometime soon. I could not wait till Wednesday for my watching your garden grow series to share this update and had to share it now. Amazing how two days ago there was no fruits sprouting yet and less than 48 hours later there is. Mother Nature is awesome.
I can't wait for them to be ripe
I can already imagine how much better these will be than anything I can get at the store. These are some of my favorite tomatoes to use when I am dicing tomatoes I find they dice up nicely for recipes. I love to cook but love to cook even more when I can harvest things right from the garden. Nothing fresher than garden fresh. And in honor of one of my favorite steemian homesteader @papa-pepper. I am @tecnosgirl and these are my tomatoes plants and here is the proof.
Check it out! Ours sprouted recently as well!
Can't wait to see more tomatoes in the garden. So nice to see you are using the open ground and your son did a great job. soon they will be red and fresh to cook.
@azizbd -- And, of course, SOME tomatoes have the chance of NOT turning red before they're ready to cook -- as in fried green tomatoes!!!
I see. We mostly get red tomatoes here.
So glad that you're really getting to live your dream now: Wide-open spaces; your own garden; etc. xoxoxoxox
