We have had a rough month

Then last week it got worse for us as we went to go to my sister-in-laws house and found her deceased. She died some time between Wednesday Night and Friday when we found her. The condition of her body tells us she died either Wednesday night or Thursday. She had 25 cats and 1 dog and with the smell of the house we think it was likely Wednesday night some time.

Her dog stood over her protecting her

Poor Cooper is heartbroken of the loss of his human. We had to drag him off of her so they could remove her and after wards he laid where we found her whinning for his momma. It is heartbreaking. The family is working on homes for the cats and the cats will stay in the house with someone coming daily to take care of food water and litter till they are all adopt. But the dog the rest of the family was gonna put him down till my husband and I said no and took him to foster him.

Sadly he doesn't get along with our Jake

So Cooper and Jake don't get along Jake is a dominate male and so is Cooper and though they are both Senior dogs. Cooper has arthritis as his companion dog Sophie died 3 years ago or so and he hurt his hips trying to move her and get her to get up. So we are scared that they will hurt each other and don't want to keep Cooper in a crate that is cruel in our opinion to make a dog live in a crate.

So I am asking for help

Can anyone foster or adopt Cooper in the Indiana, Michigan, Ohio, Illinois or Kentucky areas. We will drive him to a good safe home. There can not be any male dominate dogs in the house. He is good with all other animals now if they will be good around him idk I can not answer that till there is a meet and greet. We will not place him with babies or toddlers as he is arthritic and he does growl at people if they hurt his hips.

He comes with

A harness, leash, bed, CBD (as it helps with his arthritis) and I will even provide the first of his food for his new home if I have to. So if any of you have it in your heart to take this old boy in so he doesn't have to go to a shelter it would be awesome and you would be answering our prayers. We don't want him to go into a cage to wait to die.

Cooper is a good loving dog

Who deserves to live out tye rest of his life in loving home and not in a shelter. Please help if you can.
