A recap on the day

A day unexpected

Today did not go as planned at all. But that is okay as we were where we needed to be. It was a good thing too cause who knows what might have happened had we not been with my sister-in-law today if you missed what happened with her you can read about it here

After she was released

Our other sister-in-law had came out to the hospital and since she lives near her offer to take her home and to go get her seizure medicine filled. We came home for a minute then headed out to take care of a rising water issue at her house. We had to be about 10 minutes behind them but she was already out by the time we got there. We spent 2 hours pumping away flood water. My husband then dug a small trench so the water has a way to drain away from the house.

Finally around 6 pm we ate something

With all the craziness that happened today with my husband's sister we did not eat anything till about 6 pm. I was starving by the time we stopped at Applebee's to have our anniversary dinner. This wasn't how I planned to spend my anniversary but it is apart of what I referred to in my anniversary post that you can find here marriage is not always happiness and sunshine. There are sad times and scary times. But it is how you react that brings you together or tears you apart. Anyone can see when the times are tough we are closer than ever and come out even stronger.

So my anniversary did not go as I planned but it went as it should together strong for one another.

Sometimes things do not go as planned but as long as what ever faces us I get to face with him, I know I can face it and be strong. Because a solid strong marriage makes you stronger together than ever apart.

Glad to hear your sister in law is okay. You said it perfectly, it’s not what you had hoped for but it’s where you needed to be. It could’ve ended up much worse had she been alone. Happy anniversary to you and your hubby, hopefully next years anniversary goes as planned

They found a lesion on her brain so they know what is causing her seizures but they still don't know how she got the lesion in the first place. But now she knows what is happening to her she had some missing time and finding herself on the ground a couple of times

That’s scary stuff, hopefully they can figure it out and fix it before the problem gets worse

Modern medicine can't fix it. I say this as my mom has epilesy and has suffered from seizures since she was 5. My mom was the first person in the USA to undergo brain surgery to try to cure them. It stopped them for a few years but they came back. Cannabis CBD is the only thing that works and that doesn't even cut them 100%.

Sounds like a hectic day! and all that on an empty stomach... when things get better you can later laugh about it later.. i hope that tomorrow is a better day for you :) x
